for about a day, and I’m getting so excited! Perfect for lounging around or stretching if you’re a dancer.

In order to do this pattern, you literally need to know how to knit a square. So basically everyone can make this. No double pointed needles, no circular, no weird skip three knit together yarn over hand jive stuff!

Pencil Skirt from Scratch

Relatively straightforward concept, but I really like the fact she made it wearable for work. Working in an office I find myself running out of bottoms to wear! Cute blouses and button downs are easy to find but whipping up a reasonable length, not too tight skirt is a great tool.

Lightbulb Bulb Vase Tutorial.

In this tutorial, they assume you’re using a clear bulb. If you’re using one that is opaque white, here’s a helpful tip to get the paint off.

Once you’ve poked through the top, dump some salt INTO the bulb, cover up the top with your finger, and swirl the salt around. This should scrape off the white and leave you with a clear bulb! Just dump out the salt and paint dust once that’s done.

I’ve used this technique for something else that I used a bulb for and it really does work.
